HIDDEN GEM. Feels like you're dining in LA, not OC. It's so rare to find a great cozy place spot this in OC. FINALLY, some good steak frites outside of LA. FANCY French with Korean beer and Soju? YES PLZ!!! Every dish was amazing. Service was fantastic. They remembered every single extra thing I wanted. They didn't forget my ketchup, mayo and extra steak sauce (all was ordered in addition to the entree). This rarely happens or they forget. I can't wait to take my friends or parents here for a nice meal in OC. The chef came out at the end and spoke to us too. Absolutely amazing. Also, I just had Camphor's (1 mich. star) steak frites recently and this was much better. $30 cork fee up to 4 bottles.

I couldn't stop thinking of this place sconce my first visit last week. The caviar is what brought me back! This time, I brought my foodie best friend and we were able to order more to share and try together. We were not disappointed at all. The service and food is top notch. But what's more impressive is the magic behind the scenes. All our food was perfect, fresh, and crafted with care. You can see and taste the culinarily artistry and educated/trained chef mastery. I can't say enough great things about this place. This time, we had the Caviar, Shrimp Macaron, Blue Fin Tuna Tartare, Endive Salad, Gem Wedge Salad, Molten Chocolate Cake and Petite Four French Pastries. Everything was delicious!

Tucked in a quiet Yorba Linda strip mall, this cozy French fusion bistro is easy to miss--but worth finding. We ordered a lot of food for our birthday lunch gathering and we were impressed with the flavors & the presentations of the dish. Some of the memorable dishes are grilled artichoke & mozzarella salad- so hearty and loaded with textures from fried mozzarella to bacon bites. steam mussels- the bleu cheese gave it a little funk and another good layer of flavor on top of the delicious broth. crab cakes- unlike the usual crab cakes at steakhouses this crab cake is on another level with the beurre blanc sauce! steak frites lobster risotto- served on sizzling plate- the sauce bubbling, steak cooked just right with perfectly spiced fries! Cioppino- my first cioppino with fregula & fried soft shell crab- I am a fan! Oh the compliments doesn't stop at the cioppino, the SERVICE IS ON ANOTHER LEVEL! So welcoming, so accommodating and attentive! Our server couldn't be any friendlier and professional at the same time! The staffs or the chef even took the time to make our birthday cake (from another store) extra special and we were all in dumbstruck how their attention to details are to make us felt so welcomed and made our meal extra special! The owner and staffs attention to details is on the fine dining level- or even better than some of the fine dining restaurants! I can't wait to go back to dine again as The Wild Artichoke has made on the top three list of restaurants to visit again soon!

Wow, what a find! We had six meals on our trip to Orange County and this was the only one that was good! So glad to have found this place on Yelp! Service was outstanding, the two servers were absolutely amazing; friendly, outgoing, and attentive. The place is relatively small, maybe 7 tables total. Well laid out space, neat, modern decor and clean. We ate a light lunch and had a drink. It was taking forever for our salad to come out, but the server informed us that the chef was not pleased with the first take, so they had them re-plate the dish. That alone makes me like the place. The burrata salad was delicious, fresh and the ingredients melded well to make a cohesive dish. And the tapioca chips that we have never tried before, were so, so good! I'm on a hunt to find them here in S.D. Next time we are in the area, we are definitely coming again and trying more things on the menu. Great, great little place!

A Tiny little spot... The food was ON POINT. I'm not sure I can remember ever having something as delicious as their short rib dish Amazing doesn't do it justice. The Filet Oskar was equally delicious. We even ordered 3 desserts thinking we'd just taste them and take the rest home. No, we cleaned all 3 plates. Don't let the size of this place fool you, it was worth every penny.

We came for a tasting during restaurant week from South County. The food was phenomenal. Absolute magic is occurring back in this kitchen. It is very unassuming as it is located tucked in a strip mall and is very quaint. But boy, does this place pack a punch! From flavor pairings, to plating, to top notch table service, this is definitely a place to dine. We will be back. Thank you!

Amazing service! Presentation was phenomenal, to the T!!! I was in awe of the presentation of dishes. They were all beautiful and delicious! My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and I enjoyed the experience! Only thing was that the food was a little too salty for me, but I give major props for the innovative dishes! Very romantic ambience and was quiet enough for us to enjoy our date.

3italian ladies visited today 2/24 to have an incredible meal, Nicholas our server was awesome also Italian . The Million $ Seaweed salad with 8 different seaweeds delicious as was Hamachi Crudo with excellent vinaigrette. Wine very good also dessert, presentation beautiful of all dishes, can't wait to take my friends soon, seating great for intimate atmosphere, chef Andrew visited our table to ask about our experience and answered questions, beautiful experience all around, Emma

4.5 stars! Came first my birthday and had the most amazing experience! The inside is a cute tiffany blue color (ceilings need replacement tho) and service was attentive and great. We got the beef tartare, onion soup, beef ribs, uni pasta, and soupy seafood pasta. The meal starts with complimentary bread that was sooooo soft and flaky. The beef tartare is a MUST - loved all the textures and flavors. The soup was warm and comforting without being salty. In terms of the entrees, everything was delicious - our least favorite was the short rib (not because it was bad but because everything else was way better and the short rib flavor was something familiar and have had before at other places). They also gave me a free birthday dessert that was sooooo soft and creamy - tasted like a yuzu cheesecake with berries. Prices are on the steep end but would 100% recommend this place to anyone.
